Emma Frost

Frost is an accomplished showrunner, executive producer and screenwriter.

Her Starz limited drama series, The Spanish Princess, is currently airing which she is the showrunner/EP alongside her (now) TV show-running partner, Matthew Graham. The show is a sequel to Frost’s acclaimed series The White Princess starring Jodie Comer, and her Golden Globe and Emmy nominated BBC1/Starz co-production The White Queen which starred Rebecca Ferguson. The Los Angeles Times recently hailed the new series as one that “continues the anthology’s dedication to sweeping cinematic beauty, spot-on casting and smart storytelling while introducing a fresh culture, language and religion to drab old England.”

Frost’s recent screenplays include Zelda for Jennifer Lawrence to star and Ron Howard to direct, with producers Justine Ciarrocchi and Imagine; Switched On for Focus Features, based on John Elder Robison’s book, which Marc Platt Productions/The Combine will produce; an adaptation of All These Beautiful Strangers for Bruna Papandrea’s ‘Made-Up Stories’, with a further screenplay commission in the works for Made-Up stories.

In the UK, Frost adapted Daphne du Maurier’s Jamaica Inn for BBC1, and her original film BBC4 film Consuming Passion won 5 star reviews. Frost trained as a fine artist. She is also a playwright.
